Xiang Gao

The artwork of Xiang Gao is a combination of traditional Chinese art and a personal diary of a lustful man. Gao deals with death, love and lust in his rice paper illustrations created with black ink and Chinese brush. His work is composed of traditional elements like birds and flowers but then infused with personal elements such as the male form, skulls, and strands of black pearls.

Gao has training as a graphic designer which is evident in the two works below both entitled Dream. Gao's work is available for purchase as art prints, T shirts, and ipod cases at his Society6 store which includes some less personal work with graphic appeal.
