The Navajo trend is reaching a saturation point and despite even Richie Rich feeling the "Navajo-gone-disco" thing I'm still feeling it, for now. You may recognize the Julian Louie ethic print wedges from her Spring Summer 2011 presentation and my numerous other posts about this pair of shoes along side the Opening Ceremony Joelle ankle clog bootie. The wedges are unfortunately sold out but you can still grab a simular pair at ALDO.
Just to make things clear I have not started collecting women's shoe. The Julian Louie pair are Ninas and the OC Bootie are a friends who's visiting for the weekend. I couldn't help but share these.
This weekend when I was swatching fabrics for a client I found the Opening Ceremony print in the blue color way at Paron fabrics. I'm debating buying it up and making a shirt out of it, but at $18 a yard and with full awareness that what's attracting me to this fabric will wane before I know it, I'm hesitant.
