Artist, Kris Knight has a fetish for pale-faced boys wearing ritualistic floral wreaths. I love the Canadian realist painter and his obvious obsession with the romanticism of youth. His affinity for rosy cheeked model-esque men has made him a master of painting translucent flesh in brief blocks of soft color. His work is mythical, eerie, and unquestionable beautiful. Despite being influenced by 18th century French portraiture, Knight's work is throughly modern.
