I feel so foolish. I was reading the latest issue of Paper and saw an article about the new creative directors of Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony. It finally came together for me. I feel in love Kenzos SS 12 collection never before having loved the label. Of course the minds behind OC were responsible for my new favorite collection. The season was inspired by Ellsworth Kelly, the bright color blocking painter. Other than the bold colors and patterns the collection had a youthfulness that the label never processed. I look forward to more and will continually be in awe of Carol and Humberto's never ending talents.
